Source (river or stream) - The source of a river or stream may be a lake, a marsh, a spring, or a collection of headwaters. The furthest stream is called the Headstreams.
Stream bed - A stream bed is the channel bottom of a stream or river or creek; the physical confine of the normal water flow. The lateral confines (channel margins) during all but flood stage are known as the stream banks or river banks.
Little Monocacy River - The Little Monocacy River is a tributary stream of the Potomac River. Despite its name, the stream does not feed into the Monocacy River.
